L’europium 152 se d´esint`egre par capture ´electronique (72,1%) et par ´emission de positron (environ 0,027%) 152 Eu presents two main features when it is considered for spectroscopy purposes: a great amount of gamma emission lines and a relatively long half life (13.33y±14.6 d). 152 Eu presents two decay modes. β − with a branching ratio of 0.2792±0.0019, giving as a product 152 Gd and β + with a branching ratio of 0.7208±0.0019, producing 152 Sm.
